Windsor English Language Centre offers intensive courses in English for adult foreign learners throughout the year. There are two types of course: the Small Group Course and Private Courses. The SMALL GROUP COURSE is suitable for students whose English level is good Upper-Intermediate / Early-Advanced. The maximum class size is 4 so students receive a high degree of personal attention. The minimum age is 18. The Small Group Course is Full-Time, 15 hours attendance per week, and takes place in the mornings, Monday to Friday, 09.30-12.30. In addition, homework occupies about 2 hours daily. New Students may join the Small Group Course at the beginning of ANY WEEK. It is possible to enrol for any number of weeks (minimum 2). There is a Test on this website to check that the level is suitable. PRIVATE COURSES are available at Intermediate level or higher. Lessons concentrate on the areas of language that are most important for the student. Private courses are in the afternoons and evenings, Monday to Friday. The minimum lesson is 90 minutes. The courses take place in Datchet, which is on the River Thames next to Windsor. Datchet Station is 5 minutes by train from Windsor Riverside Station. Students may enter for a Cambridge University Examination in English: for example, the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) or FCE (First Certificate in English), taken in March, June or December; or the IELTS (International English Language Testing System), which is available all the year. If required, ACCOMMODATION can be arranged with LOCAL HOSTS. Hosts provide all meals (except lunch Monday to Friday). A MEETING SERVICE is available for transfer from airport to accommodation on arrival, and a RETURN service on departure. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * C O U R S E _ P R I C E S (payment in advance) SMALL GROUP COURSE: GBP 120 per week; Administration Fee (per enrolment) GBP 20.
